At LifeNet, we take immense pride in recognizing the dedication, skill and compassion that our team members bring to their roles every day. This year, we are thrilled to honor Cristian Jovel Ayala as our 2025 Arkansas Star of Life.

Since joining LifeNet in October 2022, he has shown remarkable dedication and growth. Beginning his career as a full-time EMT- Basic, he balanced his demanding job while attending Paramedic school. In August 2024, his hard work paid off when he earned his Paramedic licensure and transitioned to a full-time paramedic role.

When asked about being named Star of Life, he shared his thoughts:

“It’s an honor to be voted by my peers for this award. It came as a complete surprise to me when I heard that I was even nominated. To me, being Arkansas Star of Life means that I’ve been efficient in my role as a Paramedic and that my positive attitude and work ethic haven’t gone unnoticed. I feel very honored and proud that my peers thought of me when nominating others”.

Cristian enjoys working in EMS because of the social aspect of it all. He enjoys being able to interact with various people thorough out his day and enjoys the challenges that this role brings.
